The Questors presents

Larkin with Women

by Ben Brown

Intriguing insight into poet’s life

The year is 1956 and Philip Larkin, one of England's most famous post-war poets, has just arrived in Hull to take up the post of University Librarian. Over the next thirty years, his life will be dominated by three women.

Ben Brown's play is a fascinating look at this intriguing poet and his complicated relationships. Despite his selfishness, these three women were drawn to Larkin’s dry wit and stayed loyal to him to the end.

In this funny and touching play, we see behind the façade of the ‘Bard of Humberside' and into his complex private life.

"Brown offers an expert distillation of Larkin’s life and work." The Times
