The Prompter not only helps actors if they "dry" during a performance (which is thankfully rare), but also attends rehearsals and provides prompts and feedback once actors have "put their books down". The Prompter needs to be sensitive to actors, with a clear voice and good reading and hearing, and be available for rehearsals and performances for about 4 weeks.
